The Consortium currently boasts some of the world’s major stem cell networks as members and in 2007/08 the Consortium is aiming to build on its membership base and hold a series of workshops, international collaborative programs and researcher exchange programs. Currently a strong focus of the consortium is engagement with the Asia Pacific Region. Countries like Singapore, Japan, South Korea, China and India are emerging as strong players in the field with well resourced and well funded research programs.
