New York Stem Cell Foundation
Founded in 2005, The New York Stem Cell Foundation accelerates stem cell research through grants to scientists, a privately-funded laboratory, and public education. The NYSCF is a non-profit organization dedicated to furthering hESC research to advance the search for cures of the major diseases of our time. The mission of NYSCF is threefold: to educate the public about the importance and potential benefits of hESC and somatic cell nuclear transfer; to support stem cell research through grants to scientists working on hESC in their own laboratories; and to create state-of-the-art, collaborative research laboratories supported entirely with private funds.
