Regenerative Medicine Initiative Germany – RMIG
The Regenerative Medicine Initiative Germany is a network of stem cell and regenerative medicine organisations from across Germany and internationally. A current major project of the Network is the European hESC Registry which aims to pool all information on registered cell lines that have been derived in Europe, and those that are presently in use at various research institutes and that are stored in cell banks throughout the European Union (EU) and worldwide.
The network focuses on 6 following areas:
- Advise on research policy and funding
- Support Education
- Co-ordinated Public Relations and Information
- Advise on Regulatory Issues and Ethics
- Support of Translational Research Clinical Studies
- Connecting National and International scientific recources
